Greetings from upstate New York! Mo, Caitlin, and I are visiting the family of our sister-in-law, who teaches at Hobart and William Smith College besides Seneca Lake, the middle of the Finger Lakes.
The steamy warmth of summer is still a few weeks away and running along the lakeshore is cool and pleasant. On clear mornings, the horizon across the lake is broad.
