Beatrice Chepkoech broke the world 5K record at the Monaco Run, stopping the clock at 14:43, bettering the record in a mixed-gender road race by nearly five seconds. (World Athletics)

Just weeks after smashing the NCAA record in the DMR, three members of the University of Oregon relay team ripped a mile at the Tyson Invitational. Alameda's Cooper Teare got the win in a blistering time of 3:50.39. Watch the last lap. (Twitter)
