American CJ Albertson ran a 2:09 marathon on a treadmill. It's the latest of several impressively idiosyncratic solo efforts, including a 2:42:30 50K around a track and 37 miles on a treadmill at 5:56 pace. (LetsRun)
Keira D'Amato smashed the American record for 10 miles in an all-women's competition in Washington, D.C. Her mark of 51:23 was short of the mixed-gender record set by Molly Huddle in 2018, but it was very close given that D'Amato didn't have any runners to draft or pace off. (RRW, LetsRun)
