Good morning!

Welcome back to Breakfast Club, your (bi)weekly dose of outdoor content.  Here's what I was thinking about this week.

Front of the Pack:
Here are the Olympic Marathon Trials stories that caught my eye:

  • The everyday heroes who raced the Trials.  (Outside)

  • Marty Hehir finishing 6th despite stopping to take a poop. (Letsrun)

  • An impressive collection of images from the women's race.  (Outside)

  • The case for keeping Olympic Trials fields really big.  (Fast Women)  

  • A bunch of folks fell during the race.  Big packs, wind, and high midsole stack height were the likely culprits.  (Runner's World)

Coronavirus impacts: the Paris Marathon has been postponed, the Rome Marathon was cancelled, the World Half Marathon championships are postponed, the Olympics are still on but several qualifying events have been disrupted.
