Good morning!

Welcome back to Breakfast Club, your (bi)weekly dose of outdoor content.  

And just like that, it's December—the final month of the year when outdoorsy sports get subsumed into a rolling bacchanal of spending, feasting, and consumption.  But fear not, dear readers.  We've curated stories from the past two weeks of running to keep your motivation topped off into the holiday season.

Front of the Pack:
A couple weekends ago, BYU won the men's NCAA cross country championship with a big upset over Northern Arizona.  Over the decades, the energy-sapping course in Terra Haute has been the site of a lot of upsets, but rain and cold weather made this year's event particularly nasty.  On the women's side, Arkansas took a muddy win, edging out BYU by a mere six points.  (LetsRun)
