Good morning!
Welcome back to Breakfast Club.
After an injury, I'm finally returning to some semblance of training. Last Saturday, I joined a few folks for an easy run into the Port of Oakland. We started amid the blustery weather that's defined this year's winter in Northern California.
The wind blew rain into our faces, snapping heavy droplets on us as we trotted down Broadway. The water punctuated a steady staccato on our chests—notes of cold moisture plunking through plastic tech fabric. It was chilly, it was uncomfortable, and it was fantastic to be running again.
