Good morning!
One of the news items that slipped past me last week was the death of high-school cross country runner Samantha Davis. According to Milesplit.com, Davis was near the 4K mark of the Hares & Hounds Invitational at McAlpine Park in Charlotte, North Carolina when she collapsed with a seizure.
Medical staff eventually reached and stabilized her, but Davis passed away later that day. The runner had apparently suffered from epilepsy and seizures after a softball injury earlier this year.
