Breakfast Club: Marching into Spring

Good evening!
I spent the past week in New Orleans. It was my first time visiting the famous city of jazz, Mardi Gras parades, and beignets. The Big Easy is a wonderful town, filled with beautiful buildings, joyful music, and some of the friendliest people you will ever encounter.
I arrived with some skepticism. I associated New Orleans with sweltering weather, vampire novels, and the horrific catastrophe of Hurricane Katrina. But jogging besides street cars on the "neutral ground" of leafy boulevards, meeting folks around town, and meandering through coastal swamps changed my perspective. New Orleans is a lovely place, filled with deeply rooted, cross-cultural communities. And it is wonderful to explore on foot.
But back here in California, Breakfast Club returns with your weekly dose of upcoming events, Bay-area running/lifestyle news, and running content.
